CBT & Therapy/Counselling in Lincolnshire - Allie Phipps

Welcome to My Website

Are you looking for help with stress, anger, depression, panic, anxiety, worry, phobias, low self confidence or other similar kinds of problems? If so, therapy/counselling is very helpful.

What is therapy/counselling and how can it help?

Therapy is talking about your problems with another person who is specially trained.  Together it is possible to find a way to solve and understand your problems.

One of the therapies that I offer - CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) - is recommended by the NICE guidelines as one of the most effective treatments for many kinds of anxiety and depression.

It is common to expect that we can sort out these types of problems for ourselves and we may feel embarrassed or frustrated if we haven't been able to. This can affect our self confidence. You may have found ways to help yourself and simply wish to see if there is anything else that can help.  Either way it can be a great relief to learn there is something that can be done.

As a result therapy can help increase your sense of self confidence in coping with both the current problems and also the ups and downs of everyday living in the future.

Often after finishing therapy/counselling people say "I wish I'd done this sooner!"

So although it can be difficult to ask for help - deciding to go ahead with therapy may be the next step.
